Real Life Money Management's
Teeter Totter Principle
of Personal Money Management

The Teeter Totter Principle is the key to Personal Money Management. Imagine if you’re on a teeter totter sitting on one end and your income (money or assets) is on the other.

You should never let your money put you on the ground.

Remain above it, manage your money, don't let your money manage you.

When the cost of your lifestyle is less than your income then you are in control and have mastered your Money. You are on the high side of your teeter totter looking down on your assets.

The Teeter Totter Principle is the number one Real Life Money Management's "Guiding Principle".  All the rest of the Real Life Money Management Guiding Principles will depend upon you mastering the Teeter Totter Principle.

If I can stay above my money on the teeter totter and provide for a family of ten on a modest income, than anyone should be able to master financial management.

Your lifestyle is key to financial freedom. Only you can ensure that you're lifestyle isn't larger than your income. In Real Life Money Management's strategies we'll discuss proven lifestyles that can lead to your financial freedom.

These lifestyles are up to you and you alone to carry them out.  Your financial situation can only be improved when you take the necessary steps to improve it.  The best way to do this is to learn and copy others that are successful.  Most that are in control of their money are not the obvious.personal money management

In the book, "Millionaire Next Door", the author, Thomas Stanley and William Danko, point out that the millionaire you unknowingly meet is not who you think they are.  The people that most think are millionaires are only deep in debt teetering on the edge of financial doom.

Take steps today to get your teeter totter in better balance so you can live financially free.
